Manila Water Foundation turns over 5 refrigerated drinking fountains for Antipolo schools

LINGAP ESKWELA | Manila Water Foundation, in celebration of its 18th anniversary, turned over refrigerated drinking fountains for five schools in Antipolo City, Rizal. The partner schools who will benefit from this initiative are Antipolo National High School, Bagong Nayon II National High School, Mambugan II Elementary School, Peñafrancia Elementary School and San Jose National High School.

Lingap Eskwela is an infrastructure development program for drinking, sanitation and hygiene facilities in learning institutions. It supports the WASH in Schools (WinS) program of the Department of Education and BIDA Kid campaign of the Department of Health.

Former Antipolo City Mayor Andrea "Andeng" Ynares, representing Mayor Jun Ynares, graced the occasion along with the Schools Heads of the five school partners. Also present were representatives from the DepEd SDO Antipolo and the Manila Water Rizal Service Area led by its Head Melai Paraiso and Customer and Stakeholder Manager Gina Agapito. With this project, the school community is ensured of refreshingly clean, potable water.
