Manila Water Foundation's WASH programs flow in Cebu

LINGAP ESKWELA & AGAPAY | Manila Water Foundation, in partnership with Cebu Water and Cebu Manila Water Foundation, turns over a multi-faucet hygiene facility for Luyang Elementary School in Carmen, Cebu for the benefit of over 1,000 learners, teachers, and school staff.

Lingap Eskwela is an infrastructure development program for drinking and hygiene facilities in learning institutions. It supports the WASH in Schools (WinS) program of the Department of Education and BIDA Kid campaign of the Department of Health.

The school thanks JCI Quezon City Capitol and JCI Cebu Tycoons for donating hygiene kits along with the handwashing posters.

Still in the Cebu Province, Manila Water Foundation and Cebu Water turned over a fire hydrant to the local government unit and Bureau of Fire Protection in Carmen, Cebu. This is to support the LGU's emergency and disaster preparedness measures as aligned to MWF’s Agapay program.

These inaugurations in Carmen, Cebu are part of the series of activities as Manila Water Foundation celebrates 18 years of bringing environmental programs and WASH for All Communities.
