Manila Water Foundation expressed its gratitude to P&G Philippines in an appreciation luncheon with a deeply valued partner.
MWF President and Manila Water Company President and CEO Jocot De Dios hosted P&G Philippines General Manager Raffy Fajardo, Communications Director Anna Legarda-Locsin, Beauty Communications Leader Tasha Santos and Communications Manager King Agoncillo.
Since 2019, the synergy with P&G Safeguard which began with the construction of hand hygiene facilities and provision of hygiene supplies under the Lingap Linis Lusog Kabataan project expanded towards other MWF WASH programs such as the COVID-19 pandemic response initiative #SafeWASH in Communities and #SafeWASH in Schools. MWF and P&G is also collaborating to support local governments, families and communities affected by disasters in MWF’s Agapay: WASH in Emergencies.
Through the years, P&G Philippines has been a force for good in enabling MWF's mission. The partnership has served more than 55 cities and municipalities in the country through its program collaborations. With the construction of more than 351 multi-faucet hand hygiene facilities and over Php 17M in product donations, the partnership had reached more than 1M Filipinos and counting - keeping communities and families healthy and safe.
In the luncheon, MWF presented tokens of appreciation to P&G Philippines which include a snapshot of the three-year synergy By The Numbers. An oil painting skillfully made by a former PDL (person deprived of liberty) was also handed over to symbolize the dynamic partnership, one that ushers in new life and hope.
Manila Water Foundation looks forward to more years synergizing with P&G Philippines in the mission of bringing WASH for All Communities.
