Healthy synergies are activated around July in celebration of Nutrition Month!

With the theme "New Normal na Nutrisyon, Sama-Samang Gawan ng Solusyon," the Roots to Shoots (RTS) local program management team celebrated this year's Nutrition Month with partner families in the Municipalities of Bombon and Pasacao, Camarines Sur. Valued partner P&G Philippines also supported this year’s event by providing bars of Safeguard soap and Joy dishwashing liquid to the 500 hygiene and home care kits handed over to community mothers and families on July 15-17.

Parallel with the celebration is the turnover of 21 new sanitation facilities to toilet-less households in the coastal community of Barangay Caranan. Families also received bars of Safeguard soap as their start-up supply to emphasize the importance of proper hygiene in promoting good nutrition for family and child development.
