
Metrobank Foundation, Inc. and Manila Water Foundation, through the collaborative project Helping Hands WASH, formally turned over a new multi-faucet hand hygiene facility at a medical center in Sta. Cruz, Manila and a public market in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.
Helping Hands WASH in Sta. Cruz Manila
Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center serves a lot of patients daily. With the new hygiene facility installed at the hospital, the project aims to ensure proper hygiene practices for health care workers, visitors and patients alike and protect them from communicable diseases such as COVID-19 through proper handwashing.
The turnover ceremony was graced by JRMMC Chief of Medical Professional Staff Dr. Wenceslao Llauderes, MWF Program Operations Manager Nix Hipolito, and other representatives from JRMMC and MWF.


Helping Hands WASH in Agusan del Sur
Located at the Poblacion Public Market and a transport terminal, the hygiene facility serves about 2,500 individuals daily and aims to ensure proper hygiene practices for vendors, market-goers, commuters, and tricycle drivers alike and protect them from communicable diseases such as COVID-19 through proper handwashing.
The turnover ceremony was graced by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Jacqueline Momville, Committee on Health and Sanitation Head Hon. Gina Ceballos, Metrobank Agusan del Sur Branch Manager Randy Marinduque, MWF Program Manager Blessille Par, and other municipal LGU representatives.
