In a continuing partnership, P&G Safeguard Philippines and Manila Water Foundation launched #SAFEWASH in Communities project to build multi-faucet hand hygiene facilities at 20 project sites in the country's key regions.
10 Metro Manila project sites of #SAFEWASH in Communities will be in collaboration with the local government of Makati City, Marikina City, Mandaluyong City, Pasig City, Quezon City, San Juan City, Taguig City and the City of Manila, in addition to those built last year under the WASH in Pandemic program with P&G Safeguard Philippines.
#SAFEWASH in Communities will also go to Tanauan City, Batangas, Calasiao, Pangasinan, Obando City, Bulacan, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna, Antipolo City, Rizal, Clark City, Pampanga, Cebu City, Municipality of Carmen Cebu, and Talacogon, Agusan del Sur.
This partnership will build hand hygiene facilities in public markets, health centers and other public spaces so that more people have access to soap and clean water and protect themselves, their families, and communities against the spread of germs which can cause sickness, and viruses like COVID-19.
