In a continuing partnership, P&G Safeguard Philippines and Manila Water Foundation (MWF) turned over a three-faucet hand hygiene facility at North Signal Super Health Center in Taguig City earlier today.
This is through its collaboration project under the SAFE Philippines and WASH in Pandemic campaigns, which delivers immediate access to handwashing facilities to help protect more families from germs and viruses such as the coronavirus, and supports proper handwashing habits among Filipinos. Apart from the facilities, hygiene kits were also handed over to the super health center to support their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Same as the other hygiene facilities constructed in busier public spaces, the facility also sports a hybrid design where the tap can be accessed in two ways - via a hand lever, and a foot pedal for a hands-free use. PWDs and children can access the facility through a lowered sink and an accessibility ramp.
