Four public elementary schools in Aurora and Cagayan Province will be rehabilitated with new hand hygiene facilities through the partnership between GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF) and Manila Water Foundation (MWF).
In 2020, typhoons Rolly and Ulysses devastated communities and schools in parts of Luzon. This prompted GMAKF to respond to the needs of typhoon survivors through infrastructure projects. GMAKF reached out to MWF for partnership in providing hygiene facilities to affected schools in Aurora and Cagayan Province.
This partnership project has been kicked off during the MOA signing and groundbreaking ceremony last April 28, and will be benefitting the following schools:
Villa Aurora Elementary School
Calassitan Elementary School
Abariongan Uneg Elementary School
Bural Elementary School
The project is expected to be completed by October 2021.
