Supporting the livelihood of solo parents who were trained by the Quezon City Small Business and Cooperatives Development Promotions Office (QCSBCDPO), MWF purchased 1,000 alcohol bottles that were distributed during Manila Water community pantry on April 28. In partnership with MWSS - Corporate Office, the activity aimed to help bring food supplies and other essentials to our fellow Filipinos amid the MECQ.
MWF took the chance to share health and safety information for the people waiting in line. Public service announcements on proper social distancing measures, steps of proper handwashing and tips on water meter maintenance were broadcast during the activity. The MWF WASH jingle "Bayang may Kalinga" was also played to entertain and remind community members of the importance of health, sanitation and environmental protection during the pandemic.
