WASH facility at EcoPark built to commemorate World Water Day

In celebration of World Water Day on March 22, P&G Safeguard Philippines and Manila Water Foundation (MWF) turned over a new three-faucet hand hygiene facility at the La Mesa Ecopark in Quezon City to ABS-CBN Bantay Kalikasan of ABS-CBN Foundation, so people who visit the area can do so safely.

Like the other hygiene facilities constructed in busier public spaces, this is also hybrid facility where the tap can be accessed in two ways - via a hand lever, and a foot pedal for a hands-free use. PWDs and children can access the facility through a lowered sink and an accessibility ramp.
