A year after the Taal Volcano eruption, Manila Water Foundation once again joined the Ayala Group to support families evacuated because of the Volcano's recent increased seismic activities.
Manila Water Foundation deployed around 500 units of much-needed potable drinking water from Healthy and Pure. These will benefit more than 400 families from the island who are currently staying in the temporary shelters at Barangays Tumaway, Poblacion 5 and Aya in Talisay, Batangas. Globe Telecom also installed charging and wi-fi stations in evacuation centers, while Ayala Foundation, Inc. provided canned goods, noodles, disposable face masks, clothes and toys for children.
In times like this, Manila Water Foundation remains committed to give a helping hand to families rising from the effects of disaster and calamities through WASH.
