WASH INSTITUTIONS: HEALTH IN OUR HANDS–Fighting COVID-19 continues in 2021 with SAFE hands!

In its continuing partnership for a SAFE Philippines, Manila Water Foundation and Safeguard handed over 7,000 bars of soap and IEC materials for school children and community members in key public spaces in Davao City, Boracay Island, Cebu City, and Zamboanga City.

Promoting Safe Hands in Davao City and Boracay Island

In Davao City, more school children may be protected from COVID-19 and other communicable diseases caused by germs with over 3,700 bars of Safeguard soap distributed in 5 public elementary schools. Bars of Safeguard were also handed over to the administrators of the Bangkerohan Public Market and the Ecoland Overland Transport Terminal to complement its COVID-19 efforts. The donations were received by officials from the City Economic Enterprise Office, the Transport and Traffic Management Office and the Department of Education Davao City Division, on behalf of Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte.
