Since 2013, Manila Water Foundation (MWF) has been leading the celebration of Global Handwashing Day in the Philippines. This 2020, MWF hosted a virtual fete of the Global Handwashing Day—live with radio personality and host Gino Quillamor! A series of games, messages, and handwashing demos were broadcast live on the day. Watch the live event here:

As we celebrate this year’s Global Handwashing Day with the theme Hand Hygiene for All, let us all come together and involve one another in sharing the knowledge and instilling the habit on proper handwashing. No matter the race, gender, or social status, all of us are called to achieve universal hand hygiene. Our health is in our hands!
