This year’s Global Handwashing Day reminds us that hand hygiene is indeed for everybody—regardless of age, gender, or social status.

Cleene Hygiene Products for the kids of Gentle Hands in Quezon City, and CRIBS Foundation in Antipolo City, Rizal
With premium Cleene hygiene products in hand, Manila Water Foundation (MWF) in partnership with PHILUSA Corporation, brought gallons of alcohol, bottles of hand soap, medicines and other hygiene products to several special institutions in celebration of Global Handwashing Day last October 9.
The products were gladly received by the beneficiaries: the lolos and lolas of GRACES or the Golden Reception and Action Center for the Elderly and Other Special Cases, formerly known as Golden Acres in Quezon City, and St. Anthony de Padua Homecare Center in Marikina City; kids from Gentle Hands in Quezon City, and CRIBS Foundation in Antipolo City, Rizal; inmates from the city jails in Mandaluyong City and San Juan City, and healthcare workers from an isolation center in Tanauan City, Batangas.

“Thank you so much for choosing our facility. Rest assured that our lolos and lolas will benefit from your products. Once again, maraming, maraming salamat sa Manila Water Foundation in partnership with PHILUSA,” Riza Chico, Administrator of St. Anthony de Padua Homecare Center shared.
Overall, more than 1,200 individuals were provided with access to proper hygiene products through the initiative. The effort is under the WASH in Pandemic and Health in Our Hands program of the foundation. MWF is grateful to the support of PHILUSA Corporation as a reliable product partner, working hand-in-hand in bridging valuable resources to the vulnerable, ensuring that, especially at these times, there’s “hand hygiene for all.”
