Meanwhile, the Homeowners Association of Meralco Relocatees Inc. (HAMER Inc.), an urban community located at Buntong Palay Silangan in San Mateo, Rizal, reached out to seek assistance for their 300 elderly and children residents. Currently, most of their residents had to stop working because of the pandemic, and are seeking help for cash or in-kind donations on food and hygiene supplies. To address their sanitation and hygiene needs, MWF provided 600 pieces of bath soaps, more than 2,000 sachets of laundry detergent, and bottles and tablets of ascorbic acid.

Rose Toledo, member of HAMER Inc. and a dental assistant, shared the challenges that they are currently facing because of the pandemic. Kaya't lubos na hirap sa usapin ng kabuhayan, lalo pa ay "no work, no pay" din kami," she said.
