MWF is one with McDonald’s Philippines in supporting our frontliners and communities.
Recognizing the efforts of frontliners and the support needed by marginalized communities amid this pandemic, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) opened the McDo Kindness Kitchen. Through the project, select restaurants work to prepare meals for frontliners and communities in need. Crew, managers, as well as head office employees, volunteers prepare meals.
In support of the initiative, MWF provided a total of 12,000 units of 350ml bottled drinking water that would go with 12,000 meals. Among the recipients of the initiative were the Enderun Colleges Swab Test Center, Manila Medical Center, San Lorenzo Ruiz General Hospital, and barangays and quarantine facilities in Malabon, Makati, Las Piñas, and San Juan. RMHC’s Kindness Kitchens continue to serve more meals, this time to quarantine centers and barangays.
Danika Madulid of RMHC shared “On behalf of Ronald McDonald House Charities, we express our sincerest gratitude for your support to McDo Kindness Kitchen. With your help, we can provide meals to more communities in need.”
