On April 24, Manila Water Foundation (MWF) gave water relief to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), specifically for the AFP Leadership Development Center, operating under the National Task Force for COVID-19. MWF donated 2,400 pcs of 350ml Healthy Family Purified Water for AFP frontliners tasked to enforce the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) since it began in mid-March in Luzon.
Meanwhile, MWF also gave water and sanitation relief to the Province of Pangasinan, one of the areas where the ECQ was extended. The Foundation donated hygiene packages for the town of Mangaldan which contained soap bars, hand sanitizers, toothbrushes, shampoos, and hand towels. The products were donated by Manila Water employees, and MWF partners-- Philusa Corporation and P&G. The response was in collaboration with the Women's Club of Pangasinan, represented by Atty. Melanie Lambino.
In Calasiao, Pangasinan, the Foundation donated 1,344 bottles of 350ml Healthy Family drinking water for the frontliners of the local government which was in partnership with Manila Water subsidiary, Calasiao Water Company.
Manila Water Foundation continues to collaborate with and support those who want to help fight the pandemic under its Agapay Tubig and Agapay Sanitasyon programs which give immediate water and sanitation relief in times of calamities and disasters.
