Safeguard commits to build 20 hygiene facilities under Manila Water Foundation’s Lingap Eskwela

Soap brand Safeguard is the new partner of Manila Water Foundation (MWF) in helping children become healthier by building more hygiene facilities in public schools in the country.

On August 23, Manila Water Foundation and Procter and Gamble’s Safeguard Philippines, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) which promises to help public school children fight illnesses by building facilities where they can properly wash their hands with soap, brush their teeth and help maintain their bodies clean. Under MWF’s Lingap Eskwela program, Safeguard commits to build twenty (20) Lingap facilities in the province of Rizal with the value of more than P2M. The donation comes with hygiene kits and hygiene education for the school children.

Through this new collaboration, the Foundation hopes to build a country where all children have access to clean and potable water and practice proper hygiene for a healthy future.
