DOST-STII and MWF ink a Partnership Agreement for the Prize

Manila Water Foundation (MWF) and DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute (DOST-STII) enter into a Partnership Agreement in order to collaborate in promoting Science, Technology, and Innovation in the country, specifically through the MWF Prize for Engineering Excellence.

A ceremonial signing was conducted on June 25 at the DOST-STII Office in Taguig City during the institution's 32nd Anniversary Celebration. The event was graced by DOST Sec. Fortunato dela Pena where DOST-STII Director Mr. Richard P. Burgos and MWF Exec. Director Reginald Andal inked the partnership.

The MWF Prize for Engineering Excellence is a biennial award that recognizes Filipino engineers who have made a social impact through their projects in the areas of water, sanitation, sustainability and the environment. The nationwide search for awardees ends on June 28, 2019. The declared winners will receive Php 500,000 each, a special trophy and a chance to promote their projects.

The DOST (Department of Science and Technology) is a partner of the MWF Prize for Engineering Excellence.
