First MWF President's Pride Due to Performance Honors Exemplary MWF Talents

Recognizing their hard work and dedication to serve marginalized communities, three MWF talents were awarded during the first-ever MWF President’s Pride due to Performance (P3) last February 28 at SEAMEO Innotech in Diliman, Quezon City.

Awardees of the 2018 P3 are Ivy Jill de Leon and Vivian Pernito, Program Officers for Water Access, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Floracoelli Masajo-Hernandez, Special Programs Manager. “The winners of the President's Pride due to Performance are the cream of the crop—you are my pride and my joy," MWF President Geodino Carpio said during his opening speech.

MWF Chair Ferdinand M. Dela Cruz said that the P3 is the most appropriate culminating activity for MWF’s anniversary month. “The best way to end the anniversary month is to recognize our talents. Congratulations to the three awardees—very well-deserved,” he said. MWF Trustee Janine Carreon, Board Members Thomas Mattison and Rodell Garcia, and Manila Water Asia Pacific Chief Finance Officer Marivic Sugapong also graced the event.

The P3 is given to those who have displayed excellent and consistent work performance for two years in a row, have made significant contributions to the success of the Foundation, and lived out all of MWF’s core values during the talent’s entire stay in MWF.
