Corporate foundations continue to support DepEd’s WASH in Schools program as face-to-face classes resume

With more schools conducting face-to-face classes in areas under low COVID-19 alert levels, ensuring the availability of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in schools is crucial now more than ever. Recognizing this need since the pandemic occurred in 2020, the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) rallied its members to support the WASH in Schools (WinS) program and Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan of the Department of Education through the synergy project LCFWinS: Lingap Eskwela sa Pandemya.

MWF receives 5-year PCNC accreditation

Manila Water Foundation renewed its PCNC accreditation with a five-year certification (2022 to 2027) as a donee institution from the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC).

PCNC accreditation is not only an assurance of an NGO's compliance with regulatory requirements, but also a seal of legitimacy and good NGO housekeeping recognized by the government, the NGO sector, and the local and international donor community. This demonstrates that MWF has met the standards of good governance, financial stewardship, operational transparency, and accountability.
