In a continuing partnership, Manila Water Foundation and Metrobank Foundation Inc. (MBFI) will be building more hygiene facilities in public spaces in Cebu and Manila.
MBFI formally awarded a grant of P500,000 to Manila Water Foundation for the construction of two multi-faucet hybrid hand hygiene facilities in a government hospital and public market in Metro Manila and Cebu, safeguarding public health and well-being.
The grant was awarded during the George S.K. Ty Grants Turnover Ceremony on September 2, in celebration of the Metrobank's 59th Anniversary.
Supporting the Department of Education's WASH in Schools program, League of Corporate Foundations member and project sponsor Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. with project implementer Manila Water Foundation will be constructing nine hygiene facilities and will be providing hygiene kits, info-education materials and hygiene education sessions to select schools in Quezon, Cebu, Davao del Sur, Albay, Laguna, Negros Occidental, Zambales, and Batangas.
