As the pandemic persists, Manila Water Foundation (MWF), together with its partners P&G Safeguard Philippines, JCI Quezon City Capitol, and the Quezon City Government, formally inaugurated four new handwashing facilities and rehabilitated two (2) existing ones in various strategic public areas in Quezon City on September 4.

Advancing WASH amid the pandemic, Manila Water Foundation partnered with cement manufacturer Holcim Philippines to support the WASH in Schools (WinS) program of the Department of Education (DepEd).

"Nasa kamay nating lahat ang ating kalusugan, kaya't kailangan nating panatilihing malinis ito," said Dr. Lorenzo San Agustin of Kamuning Super Health Center.  

“Laking gulat ko nang dumating ang trak na may dalang five-gallon na tubig. Ika ni Mommy Rose na inmate ng CIW, ‘Ngayon lang kami nagkaroon ng ganyan! Amin ba talaga iyan?’ Thank you for allowing the inmates to believe that even while they live and breathe on routine in a place where all things arrive only as scheduled, good surprises can still come. Thank you for showing them that,” said Florence Isidoro, Coordinator for Women Recharged Ministries.
