Hygiene kits for frontline volunteers, health workers deployed under Agapay Sanitasyon

Manila Water Foundation believes in the crucial role of proper sanitation and hygiene  in combating the spread of the coronavirus that caused the COVID-19 pandemic. Through its Agapay Sanitasyon program, MWF partnered with like-minded organizations bring hygiene and sanitation products to  households in Barangay Labangon, Cebu City and health workers in Metro Manila.

June 17—Water access, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) is critical for practicing good personal hygiene especially during this time of the pandemic. On June 16, Manila Water Foundation (MWF), in partnership with the Philippine Dental Association (PDA), turned over a ten-faucet handwashing facility to San Juan Elementary School (SJES) and donated hygiene products for school-aged children as well as to the San Juan City Government.

Locally stranded individuals receive WASH support

Manila Water Foundation reached out to more than 200 locally stranded individuals (LSIs) who are temporarily sheltered at the Philippine Army Gymnasium in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on June 22. Canceled flights to Mindanao forced the LSIs to seek shelter at Fort Bonifacio since June 19.

In partnership with Goldilocks Philippines, MWF deployed 1,000 Goldilocks Classic Mamon, total of 1,008 bottles of 350ml drinking water to help 24 gallons of Cleene Ethyl Alcohol, and 160 bottles of alcohol from Dragon Edge.

MWF, QC gov tie up for WASH in Pandemic

Manila Water Foundation (MWF) is delighted to work with the Quezon City (QC) government on the WASH in Pandemic initiative! 

Through this partnership, MWF will be implementing the construction of handwashing and drinking facilities in QC Hall Complex and Quezon Memorial Circle, distributing 4,000 hygiene packs to barangays, which are still currently on special concern lockdown, and disseminating IEC posters and signages with designated hand hygiene champions.

MWF backs internal, external partners under WASH in Pandemic

More individuals and communities receive potable water and hygiene education tools under Manila Water Foundation (MWF)’s WASH in Pandemic initiative.

Addressing the water needs of our hardworking frontliners, MWF recently donated more than 6,000 bottles of 350ml of bottled drinking water to frontliners in barangays and municipalities. This is in coordination with the Business Areas of Manila Water Company in Makati-Mandaluyong, Marikina, Pasig, Quezon City, Rizal, and Taguig-Pateros.
