Quake-hit families in Cotabato, Davao receive water relief through Manila Water Foundation's Agapay program

In the span of two weeks, residents of North Cotabato and Davao del Sur were severely affected from three strong quakes: A magnitude 6.3 on October 16, magnitude 6.6 on October 29, and magnitude, 6.5 on October 31. These consecutive quakes triggered landslides which buried hundreds of homes, caused several injuries, and displaced thousands of families. Recent reports said that groups of villagers from Makilala, North Cotabato held up signs along the road in a plea for rice and water.

Manila Water Foundation spearheads 2019 World Toilet Day celebration

Held at the biggest high school in the Philippines in terms of student population, hundreds of parents and students gathered at Rizal High School in Pasig City to call for proper sanitation for all to kick off the celebration of World Toilet Day, a global advocacy day observed every November 19 about inspiring action to tackle the global sanitation crisis.
